The blend brings together 54% Chardonnay from Chouilly and 46% Pinot Noir led by the cool, northerly vineyards of Verzenay, giving a wine of ripe peach, lemon meringue and vanilla held taut by chalky minerality. It earned 98 points from Antonio Galloni of Vinous and 99 from James Suckling - a mark of just how singular this vintage really is.
